Last Tuesday 29th, the Green Jobs and Just Transition Business Forum was held as part of our Jobs2030 initiative, which brings together numerous institutions and companies working hand in hand for a more sustainable and ethical future of work.
Forética has recognized a total of 28 companies and organizations that have promoted the initiatives selected within the framework of the project, which are included in the document 'Roadmap for a green and just transition'.
Among them is "10 years promoting an integrated model of professional qualification in the water sector" in which Escuela del Agua presents its strategy based on three axes: Dual Vocational Training, accreditation of competences, and continuous training.
The Forum was opened by Juan Manuel Sánchez-Terán, Deputy Director General for the Social Economy and Corporate Social Responsibility of the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy. The opening ceremony was also attended by the Director of Sustainability of ManpowerGroup, Montse Moliner, the Director of Institutional Relations and Sustainability of ONCE Social Group, Fernando Riaño, and the Director General of Forética, Germán Granda.
Begoña María-Tomé, Coordinator of the Just Transition Agreements of the Institute for Just Transition of the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, also participated in the event. The international vision was provided by Emanuela Pisano, Project Manager of CSR Europe, who explained the most important global trends at a business level in the field of the Future of Work.
This vision has been complemented by business experiences in green employment and just transition, addressed by Blanca Urtasun, Talent and Global Training at Iberdrola; Borja Vallespín, Director of Ecologistic Coordination and Development of Recycling4All at ILUNION; Julia Rodríguez, Development Director of the Human Age Institute at ManpowerGroup; and Ángel Bartolomé, Vice Rector of Students and University Life at San Pablo CEU University.
