Starting next September, the Water School will provide training on sustainable development objectives and water management, within the framework of the "Emplea Verde Mejora" program organized by the Biodiversity Foundation, under the Ministry for Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge of the Spanish Government.
The 9 training actions will be carried out in 6 different Autonomous Communities, training a total of 180 people. The course is aimed at working professionals with a technical profile (engineering teams, managers of water plants and facilities and transversal profiles of the sector) and enables them to acquire key competences within the framework of the "Green Deal", adding the focus on innovation, efficiency and sustainability.
From the methodological point of view, it starts from a professionalizing approach that prioritizes the application of knowledge to the working reality of workers by solving real water management challenges to address the challenges of circularity in water management, the adoption of nature-based solutions and the adaptation to the new ecological transition needs established by the 2030 Agenda.
