Funcionamiento y Operación de ETAP

The Online Course in Functioning and Operation of drinking water treatment plants (DWTP) allows the operating personnel of drinking water treatment plants (DWTP), interpreting and knowing the sequence of treatments used for the production of drinking water within the framework of current legislation, as well as to solve operational problems associated with the handling of equipment, electrical machinery or measurement and dosing for process control.

The design of the program, both in terms of content and delivery approach, has an ultimate goal: that the training achieves a real impact on the performance of professionals.

AIMED AT:

  • Operating personnel of drinking water treatment plants (DWTP).

UPON COMPLETION, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Interpret, know and supervise the sequence of treatments used for the production of water intended for human consumption within the framework of current legislation.

  • Solve operational problems associated with the handling of equipment, electrical machinery or measurement and dosing for process control.

  • Record data and complete standardized work reports without error.

  • Take representative samples of influent, effluent, intermediate processes and by-products and carry out their preservation and transport to the laboratory under adequate conditions.

  • To acquire all the necessary knowledge to be able to correctly perform drinking water analysis.

The content of the course has been elaborated taking as a basis reference the map of professional competences that make up the certificates of professionalism approved by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy of the Government of Spain for the Vocational Training System for Employment.

Evaluation system

The tests are taken individually and in self-correction format through the virtual campus.

All tests and questions are based on the content taught in each unit.

Diploma

Participants who successfully complete the program will receive a diploma issued by the Water School. The diploma includes the name of the course, the number of hours of training, the training units completed and the contents of each unit.

In order to obtain the accredited diploma it will be necessary to have been trained in all the contents of the course and to pass the evaluation tests at the end of each didactic unit.
