Cycle of lectures and workshops to address in a monographic way the following subjects critical issues in water and environmental management that provides a high-level view of the climate emergency.. Focuses its attention to water and water management The company also provides different approaches, such as those offered by supercomputing or land use planning and continuous evaluation with indicators and administrative hierarchies.

    MR. JAVIER MARTÍN VIDE

    He holds a degree in Mathematical Sciences and a PhD in Geography and History from the same university, with an extraordinary award.

    Professor of Physical Geography at the University of Barcelona Specialist in climatology, member of the Royal Academy of Sciences and Arts of Barcelona and corresponding member of the Académie Royale des Sciences d'Outre-Mer (Belgium) and of the Academia Malagueña de Ciencias.

    He has focused his research activity on probabilistic analysis of precipitation, climate hazards, synoptic analysis, urban climate and climate variability and change.

    D. ROBERTO BILBAO

    D. ROBERTO BILBAO

    Climatologist and expert at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center.

    After graduating from the MSc in Meteorology and Oceanography at the University of East Anglia (Norwich, UK) in 2011, he obtained a PhD studentship (NERC-CASE) at the University of Reading (UK) where he submitted a PhD thesis on the effects of climate change on ocean heat content and sea level change in recent decades and the 21st century.

    Director of Fundación Empresa y Clima.

    Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Barcelona, Master's Degree in Water Engineering (UPC) and Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (UPC). Her incorporation to the Fundación Empresa y Clima responds to the need to cover the latent demand of the companies in the face of the needs, doubts and questions originated by all the environmental regulations and climate change.

    Head of the Environment and Sustainability area of the Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Services and Navigation of Barcelona.

    D. JORGE OLCINA CANTOS

    D. JORGE OLCINA CANTOS

    Professor of Regional Geographic Analysis at the University of Alicante.

    Professor at the University of Alicante of Land Management, Climatology and Natural Hazards. He has focused his research on various geographical topics. He is author or co-author of numerous publications (articles, book chapters and monographs). Speaker at the International Year of Planet Earth (2008), declared by UNESCO.

    He was dean of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Alicante between 2009 and 2013. Academic coordinator of the Doctoral Program of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters (2014-2016). President of the Spanish Association of Geography (AGE) since November 2017.

    D. TOMÀS MOLINA BOSCH

    D. TOMÀS MOLINA BOSCH

    Ambassador of the European Climate Pact.

    With a degree in Physics and a registered journalist, he is the head of meteorology at TV3, director of the television program Espai Terra, associate professor at the UB, member of the administrative council of the Meteorological Service of Catalonia and vice-president of the International Association of Broadcast Meteorology, among other institutions. Known at regional level for working in television since 1987, he has won several awards for his informative work: the Silver Microphone (2002), the Zapping award for best Spanish television presenter (2012) and the Spanish Television Academy award for best current affairs program on regional television for Espai Terra.
